How Backers are protected
14-day review per milestone
When proof is posted, each Backer has 14 days to review the proof, ask for more info, and decide whether to keep supporting your next milestone.
0% commission — direct gifts, nothing taken
Backers pay exactly what they choose directly through your payment methods. cohero takes 0% commission on backings, so you keep what is sent. Any refunds or disputes are handled directly between you, the Backer and your payment provider.
Gifts, not shares
Backings are gifts. No shares, equity, interest or repayment, and Dreamers keep full ownership. Nothing on cohero is an investment or a loan.

Shared premises may offer fewer hours than the planned programme needs. Confirm session access in the first milestone and choose fittings that can move if the room allocation changes.

Equipment lacks supervision
Activity purchases can outpace the team available to run sessions. Match the equipment list to a documented supervision plan and budget for delivery time before expanding the programme.

Low trial attendance
A proposed timetable may clash with school or transport routines. Gather schedule feedback before the trial and reserve materials funds for adapting the initial session programme.
Questions and answers
Do I have to pay Backers back?
No. Backers send gifts directly to your own payment account. cohero never holds funds or reverses payments; any dispute or refund request is handled between you and the Backer through your payment provider.
Can the dream cover a youth center in a shared venue?
A shared venue can be the project scope if access hours, storage and setup duties are clear. Show the space agreement first, then fund portable equipment and a trial timetable that fits the room’s confirmed availability.
How can we show activity proof while protecting young people?
Use empty-room photos, equipment inventories and anonymised session summaries. Report what activities ran and what changed after the trial without sharing names, attendance sheets or identifiable participant images.
