A Dream is something you want to make real and need support for: starting a business, paying for your studies, finishing a creative project or building something for your community. On cohero, your Dream is shown as a card in the feed, with your story, photos, a goal and a plan of milestones.

Backers swipe through Dreams, open the ones that speak to them and decide which ones to back. Your Dream is how they get to know you, so it should show clearly who you are, what you want to achieve and how you will get there, step by step.

Choose Dreamer when you sign up, complete your profile and start a new Dream. You can save it as a draft and come back to it as many times as you need before you publish.

Milestones split your goal into steps that can be proven. Many Backers support one milestone at a time and wait for your proof before they back the next, so a good plan makes it easy for them to say yes. Each milestone has an amount, a description of what will be done and, if you like, a reward.

• Keep each milestone concrete: "Buy and install the kiln" is better than "Phase 2".
• Put the steps in the order you will really deliver them. Proof is submitted in that order.
• Describe the proof you will show, such as receipts, photos or a video of the result.
• Make sure the milestone amounts add up exactly to your goal.
• Add an optional reward per milestone, such as a thank-you video, early access or a product. Rewards must be goods or experiences, never money, interest or shares.

Smaller first milestones often work well. They let you show progress early and give Backers confidence in the rest of the plan.

You add your own payment methods to your profile: a PayPal.me link, Wise, Revolut, a Stripe payment link or your bank IBAN. Backers see them on your Dream page and pay you directly. cohero never touches the money, so it reaches you immediately and in full.

• Add at least one payment method; several make it easier for Backers in other countries.
• When a Backer tells you they have paid, you get a notification. Check your account and tap Received to confirm it.
• Confirmed payments are added to your Dream's progress, so new Backers can see how far you have come.
• If a payment has not arrived, tap Not received and talk to the Backer in the chat.

Because you receive the money yourself, you are responsible for using it for the milestones you described and for any taxes that apply where you live.

When you click Publish, your Dream is sent to our team for review. We check that the Dream is real, follows our Dreamer Rules and Community Guidelines, and that the milestone plan makes sense. Approved Dreams go live in the feed; if something needs changing, you will be told what to fix and can send it again.

Complete profiles, a real photo and a consistent story make reviews faster and give Backers more confidence. Approved Dreams carry a Verified badge on their card.

Backers back people, not only ideas. The Dreamers who raise the most are the ones who communicate clearly and deliver what they promised.

• Answer messages from Backers quickly and politely in the in-app chat.
• Send proof as soon as a milestone is done, with clear photos, receipts or video.
• If a Backer asks for more information, add it rather than arguing.
• Be open about delays and explain your new plan.
• Only accept backings through the payment methods on your Dream page, and confirm each payment in the app as soon as it arrives.

Every new backing, proof request and message is sent to you as a notification in the app and by email, so you always know where your Dream stands.
