Backing means supporting a Dreamer's goal with your money. A backing is a gift, not an investment: you do not buy shares or ownership, and you are not lending money. You help a real person reach something they could not do alone, and you follow their progress step by step.

On cohero, your support goes directly to the Dreamer. There are no middlemen: cohero never receives or holds your money, so everything you send reaches the person you chose to support.

The Discover feed shows one Dream at a time. Swipe right to save it to your Saved list, or left to pass. Open any card to read the full story, look at the photos and check the milestone plan before you decide.

Every Dream in the feed has been reviewed by our team first. You will see the category, the location, the goal, how much has been raised and how many milestones are already complete.

Tap Back this dream on any Dream page. Choose whether to support the whole Dream or a single milestone, and enter the amount you want to give.

• You see the Dreamer's own payment methods, such as PayPal, Wise, Revolut, a Stripe payment link or a bank IBAN.
• You pay the Dreamer directly in the app you already use and trust. No card details are shared with cohero.
• Then tap I've sent the amount. The Dreamer is notified and confirms when the payment has arrived, and the Dream's progress updates.

Some Dreamers offer an optional reward per milestone, such as a thank-you video, early access or a product. Rewards are always goods or experiences, never money or shares.

Every Dream is split into milestones with a clear amount and a clear result. You can back the whole Dream at once, or back one milestone at a time and wait for proof before you back the next.

• Dreamers post photo and video proof when a milestone is finished.
• You get a notification in the app and by email, so you never miss an update.
• If you are not convinced, you simply stop. Nobody can charge you again: every payment is one you send yourself.

This step-by-step approach is what makes backing safe: you only continue to support a Dream when you have seen real progress.

Tap Follow Dream on any Dream you like. You will be notified about new milestones, proof and updates, even before you decide to back it.

Following is private and can be undone at any time by tapping the button again.

Open a chat from any Dream page to ask questions before or after you back. You see when messages are read and when the Dreamer is typing. Messages, backings and milestone updates also arrive in your notification center and by email.

If anyone makes you uncomfortable, you can block them, which stops all messages both ways and hides their Dreams, or report a Dream or profile to our team. Only pay through the payment methods shown on the Dream page, and never share passwords or one-time codes with anyone.
