Direct impact
No fund in between. You choose the dream, see the milestones and watch the proof arrive. A small backing can complete a milestone when several Backers join in.
- 02
Transparent by design
Every dream shows its goal, milestones and progress. Dreams are reviewed before they go live, and money moves only when proof is posted.
- 03
A relationship, not a transaction
Chat with the Dreamer and follow updates. Many Backers return because they enjoy watching a plan become something real, knowing they helped.
How Backers are protected
14-day review per milestone
When proof is posted, each Backer has 14 days to release their share or ask for more. Money not released in time goes back to the Backer.
15% fee, deducted — never added
Backers pay exactly what they choose. The 15% fee comes out of each backing: ₹10,000 gives the Dreamer ₹8,500. The fee is kept if money is returned.
Gifts, not shares
Backings are gifts. No shares, equity, interest or repayment, and Dreamers keep full ownership. Nothing on cohero is an investment or a loan.
Example milestone plan
An example plan for a concert tour dream with a goal of ₹1,900,000. Backers fund the whole goal, but each milestone's money stays held until you post the proof and Backers release it.
Milestone 1
₹475,000 · 25%
Complete the opening leg
Post opening-leg set lists, dated stage photographs and redacted travel records matching the first scheduled shows.
Milestone 2
₹475,000 · 25%
Complete the second leg
Share venue-date confirmations, performance clips and a route log documenting shows completed on the second leg.
Milestone 3
₹475,000 · 25%
Complete the third leg
Post third-leg stage footage, accommodation receipts and a completed-date tracker with personal details removed.
Milestone 4
₹475,000 · 25%
Close the final leg
Share final-leg show photographs, return-travel records and a tour recap comparing completed dates with the itinerary.
Risks to plan for
- R1
Distances strain the route
Long drives can make consecutive performances unrealistic. Group nearby dates into balanced legs and budget rest stops and travel buffers before committing to the opening itinerary.
- R2
A date is cancelled
A cancelled show can leave travel and accommodation costs in place. Confirm venue dates before each leg and include a modest rerouting allowance rather than relying on every stop proceeding.
- R3
Equipment fails on road
Repeated loading and changing stage setups can expose weak cables or damaged cases. Check gear before departure and budget essential spares and maintenance across the four tour legs.
Questions and answers
Do Backers get anything in return?
Backings are gifts, so there are no shares, interest or repayment. You get a clear view of the progress you made possible and a direct line to the Dreamer.
Why split tour milestones by leg rather than by expense?
Each leg combines travel, crew and performance work that Backers can verify together. Keep the four legs comparable in scope and cost, and show dated evidence for the completed shows rather than only advance bookings.
Can backing cover a tour before ticket income is known?
Build the goal from clearly listed tour costs and explain which expenses backing is meant to cover. Treat uncertain ticket income separately in the plan, and avoid presenting projected sales as money already available for travel.
